Wedding Vows

I’ll be posting some of the best wedding vows I have personally heard. The marriage vow is what separates a good wedding to a great wedding. The vow is a commitment a man makes to his future wife on the day of their wedding.

So to start of my wedding vow series, I’ll be posting the Wedding Vow of Bojo Bonifacio:

Ronna, baby. Before my feelings and emotions toward you were real I decided I was going to love you and be committed to you. A quote from your favorite author says, “To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly broken.” Choosing to love you requires that I become vulnerable. They say that the most important people in our lives can cause us the most pain as well as joy. Throughout the years that we’ve been together we have experienced both the pain and the joy. And loving you is truly worth the risk of being vulnerable to the deepest pains. Cause I know that no matter what kind of hurt or pain I may feel I can be secure in Christ’s love and always choose to love you.

As we enter a new season in our lives together, by God’s grace I will continue to learn how to love you, to pursue you and cherish you. I will remind you about how exceptionally beautiful you are. I will do my best to constantly put a smile on your face and make you laugh. I will make sure you get your regular dosage of raw fish except when there’s a bun in the oven. I will make every effort to fill your love tank with hugs and kisses, with loving and thoughtful words, and quantity time filled with quality time. I will bug you to blog because I know there are thousands of people who need to hear what you have to say. I will make a conscious effort to prevent my pride from allowing me to say sorry and to consider your input in decisions because I value your thoughts. I will honor you as my best friend, wife and partner in the advancement of God’s Kingdom. I will take on the responsibility to lead you head on with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and reliance on God’s grace.
On July 23, 2010 after the EN World Conference you were talking about a revelation of having not just individual dreams and visions but a shared vision as a couple. I’m looking forward to receiving those dreams and visions God has for us as a couple. At the same time I know you still have your personal dreams and I hope I can help you fulfill those dreams, which I believe God had originally placed in your heart. And I’m grateful that I get front row seats to see you become the woman God has destined you to be, cause I just want to see you shine.

I’m really excited to share my life with you and the unfolding of our lives as husband and wife. Even though our love story may not have been a fairy tale, it’s definitely an ever after.

I love you always and forever.
